Is there a way to reset Money v14 back to its defaults?

Particularly the user altered payees.

Since the demise of money files and Nationwide I've used MT2OFX. The csv
file downloads (proper payees) correctly but MT2OFX or money seems to
convert all payees to the same payee despite what the csv file says.

When I first purchased money I setup a lot of altered payees which I no
longer use..

Tools->Options/Settings->OnlineServices->ReplacePayeeNames...
enables replacement of payees with names you have used. You would
probably want to turn that off.

Banking->AccountTools->Categories&Payees->Payees->PreferredPayeeNames
shows how downloaded names are translated into Payees. You could
delete the ones you don't want.

You may need to download the CSV files from a different "view" on the
Nationwide web site. The contents of the downloaded files vary
dependent on where you are on the site.
