USA Deprecation on Sch C page 2

Hi,

I have a question regarding my small business taxes on Sch C, I'm hoping to get a answer to better understand. My tax preparer put the deprecation for my small business on page 2 of Sch C instead of page 1, why would they do this?

Could be that your ONLY depreciable assets are those whose costs are part of COST OF GOODS SOLD. That is part III of the Schedule C. If so then the preparer included the depreciation in box 39 "Other Costs" as Overhead costs. Ask the preparer your question and if you don't get a straight answer - get a new preparer.
