Dormant Company

I am considering registering a private limited company but do not intend to
start trading for a while.

I have a number of questions:

Is it easy to keep a company dormant?

Can anyone recommend a reputable formation company - there seems to be lots,
all with varying prices - is a £34.99 basic formation value for money or are
there hidden costs?

Apart from the company formation expenses can anyone advise on any
additional charges I will incur (such as Annual Returns?) if I keep the
company dormant?

Thanks in advance.

Yes, as long as it doesn't trade, you simply file a one-page DCA
)dormany company accounts) form and your annual return.

Sorry, can't help, I did it all myself.

Just the annual return fee, £15

Thank you for this Brian - it has made it much clearer.
