Ok not exactly accounting, but I've failed to find a HR or business
emlpoyment law forum/NG so thought I'd throw this
    to the masses here.

Our company is about to implement some clever software that can monitor the
usage of its employees throughout the day, plus, if any key words
are displayed on anyones screen a snapshot is taken and sent to the
    administrator (or whoever is delegated)
each employee when they log on in the morning must click an accept button
that relates to the companys policy on the usage of the PC and the internet
    or their PC switches off.

Question is, Can we implement this to existing employees who have had free
use of their PC's for the last 4 years?
Anyone know any reason why I cannot implement this software ?

    thanks in advance

    You couldnt find uk.legal?
You may want to think what your employees will think of management.

Have another look. It may be worth noting that google groups isn't always
    working perfectly a.t.m.

It's one of the more popular uk.* groups. There's also uk.legal.moderated.

Is that a joke? There's 1,000s of posts. More than 17 in a day.

Yes. Employee monitoring software’s can be implemented by companies in order to track their employees computer activities. One can use many software’s such as keylogger, nestersoft etc. to keep an eye on employees computers. One can even consider deployment of remote support appliance such as RHUB appliance to monitor employees computer activity.
