Entire month of expenses disappeared

Opened QB today and the bank bal. was way high. Went all the way back to 2011 and found that all the expenses I posted in May (about 150 line items) are gone!!!! WTH??????

Go to Reports, Accountant & Taxes, Audit Trail. Customize Report so that the Report Date Range says All BUT...the Days Entered/Last Modified state a small range of the dates you think you entered the missing items. If you entered them into that QuickBooks file, they will be listed in that report. Otherwise, you may have entered your data into another QuickBooks file, or had some technical error, functioning problem with the QuickBooks file.
