fees for epay/bill pay?

Steve

Are there charges for epay if your bank supports online bill payment? What
banks work with Microsoft Money for epay?

What does MSN charge for MSN Bill Pay?

I just started using Money and Chase wants to charge me to download my
statements, so I'm looking at changing banks.

Thanks in advance!

Depends on the bank. Microsoft doesn't charge anything if you're
going directly to your bank. My bank (Wachovia) offers free online
bill payment through Money (and Quicken).

Steve,

CheckFree currently charges $5.95 for MSN Bill Pay within MS Money.
The difference between MSN Bill Pay and what your bank may offer is
that MSN currently allows payment from all your banks' checking
accounts as opposed to just those of one bank. Whether that is worth
any difference in cost is entirely up to each user.

In addition, MSN Bill Pay does not currently deduct all payments from
your account when processing begins like many banks have started to do.
They currently handle payments in one of three ways: electronically
(debit occurs on the payment due date you select), individual paper
check (debit occurs when check is returned to your bank), corporate
paper check (debit occurs on the payment due date you select). The
latter is the only one that may cause money to be deducted from your
payment account prior to your payee posting the payment.

Hope this helps!

Regards,
JB
