Floppy backup

Whenever I backup QB to a floppy the drive keeps searching for the disk
until I reboot. In other words I insert the floppy, backup, remove the
floppy and periodically the drive starts up and searches for the now
missing floppy. I have not noticed this with any other programs so I
think it is a QB problem. Any ideas?

Sounds like a regular Windows (OS) problem.

After your Back-up, open Windows Explorer and click on the
C:\ drive or any File / Folder other than A:\ .
Then remove the floppy disk and the serach/hunting for an
A:\ drive access should cease.

Check whether Schedule a Backup tab of the Backup window is set to
schedule any periodical backup from any specific drive.
