Free Experian credit monitoring

Anybody out there using the free one year trial of credit
monitoring and unlimited access to your credit report from
Experian that came with Money 2004? Just wondering if I
was the only one having problems with it lately. It
basically quit working entirely, I can't update my FICO
score in Money and when I go to view my report there's
nothing on it. I emailed Experian and they say my account
is still active, so I don't know what's up.

That service is totally screwed up.

When I first signed up, the web site gave me a credit report and I printed out
everything (glad I did). Since then, I also seem to have nothing on file.

Apparently CreditExpert updated their site and you have to
reenter your Social Security number to "update" your information.
When money takes you to the CE site, you are presented with a
page that tells you the site is new and improved. When you click
continue, you are prompted to enter a credit card and SSN. I just
entered JUST my social and pressed "continue" through one or two
screens. After that my information was updated and I clicked back
over to money, clicked update, and voilà! Still it's frustrating
that we aren't prompted to take these steps. Now if only budget
would work....
