Hi
My Mum has Alzheimer's and is in a residential home. She hasn't much savings
& so is fully funded by pension + Income Support.
She has deteriorated and been recently assessed for nursing care. The staff
have given me the impression there will be a 'shortfall' in funding when she
gets nursing care.
Is this right? I though nursing care was paid for in full by the NHS.
If not, and all her savings are used up, can they force me to pay her
nursing charges?
Many thanks for any help
