Hi everyone. I would like your opinions. I would like to study accounting and finance, especially accounting with the aim of becoming a freelance accountant working primarily from home. I have about ten years to do this, I'm in no hurry. If I do this I can only do it online or mostly online, mainly because I live outside the U.S. I have residency in Ohio and Indiana. I have no formal training in accounting but I have run three small business in my life, one was my flooring business, the other my language tutoring business, and the other my family's business, the third being the hardest. I began studying accounting on my own, and using accounting software, which really helped my business. Call me a bore but I find the topic interesting, aspecially as a business owner. But I would like to have it as a skill in my later years. Anyways, what would it take from step one to step ?? to get this done. As I said it would have to be online. What would it cost? Do online degrees open up doors for you? Thank you.
