Fund updates?

I've got Money 2004 set up to download fund prices, but over the last few
days it seems to have stopped updating with new prices.

The last day for which it's recorded a new price is 23/1, and the price
updates for yesterday aren't downloading (when I go to 'update prices
manually', the most recent date that appears is 23/1).

When I right-click on a particular fund, and then click 'other research on
MSN Money' and 'historical charts', the listed prices are different than
what's stored in MS Money which makes me think that MS Money should have
downloaded that changed amount, but it's not.

The funds are definitely 'ticked' in the list of prices to download, the I
get a message saying that the share update was successful - only it just
doesn't actually update the prices.

Might this have anything to do with the following:

Notice that on this page, it says "Time of last NAV update 23/1/2004" which
is the same date as the last time MS Money says it has data. In other
words, is it possible that MSN Money is displaying quote information that is
more recent than 23/1/2004, but for some reason has it's knickers in a
twist, and because that date is set incorrectly on the web page/(database),
won't download any more info? Or have I missed something?

The 23/1 sounds like the last time the fund was updated on MSN money - i
don't think the process runs over the weekend, as the prices will stay the
same.

Money should download a date as well as value (seems to in 2004), so the
price on 23rd will be set, whenever you've done the update.

I notice now the fund in question has a 26th date on it, so I guess the
procedure to update has run again for that fund.

.
I also have Money 2004 and have experienced the same
problem, I am getting a message saying that money could
not connect to the server. which SYMBOL are you using?
there appears to be two types e.g. Aberdeen Emerging
Markets is either 332281 or GB003322819. Mt setup was
working ok until I started to try and use the
synchronisation using the microsoft password.

I would always recommend using the long quote if you can.
