Hard drive died

The hard drive on one of my computers died and I will next week put in a new
one. I've already installed Money Plus Deluxe (2009) on two computers, so
does anyone know of a way I can put it on my new hard drive and get it
activated, even though it has already been activated twice? Thanks.

I don't know if it will work as it should, but if all you change is
the hard drive, then the activation process should work. If it
doesn't call the number specified on the failure notice or Money
support.

OK, Cal, I'll give it a try. But I will have to reinstall the program from
CD, since the program was installed on the hard drive...

Yes. That is a considered case in the design. Cal's point was that the
activation process supposedly does some kind of hash coding of hardware
specifics to decide if you are installing on a totally different machine or
an almost the same machine like, say, one with a new hard disk.

OK, sounds good. Thanks again.

I reinstalled Money on my new hard drive today. Just as you said -- no
problems. The old activation code worked.

Thanks!
