Has anyone had this happen?



I sent a payment through bill pay and was given a transaction number by the
bank. It should have cleared and when it didn't I called the bank to find
out what had happened to the payment. They said they had no record of my
transaction. They couldn't explain how I had received a transaction number
since their records didn't show the transaction. They said they would have
a technician look at it, and said they would cover any late charge.

If anyone has had this experience, please let me know. The bank is Wells
