Do you know Dr Stephen Golden-Gun by any chance? He has (or had) a
furniture factory out in Poland. Also, do you have any racy stories to
tell us about Peter Saxton's wife?

It is nice to have Poland as part of the EU so they can (hopefully) put
behind them their difficult past. To me the Polish people bring to mind
two things:

BRAVERY
Monte Cassino, Arnhem etc etc...

A COMPLETE INABILITY EVER TO LEARN ENGLISH
Second even to the French!

hm.... I think that was a few years ago. Nowadays a lot of people learn
English as well.
I'm sure that much more people learn German.
For example I was learning Russian for whole my elementary school and next
all schools.
Next I was learning German than I have been learning Engish since Oktober
2001.
It is arround 2 years. My daughter is 12 and she started learn English in
her 9.
Even I sent her to London summer school last year. I think that it will be
generation which
will know English and other language much better than me.

Ok stop to excuse ...... lol

Thanks for memory of our bravery ......

Best Regards ..

I am sorry, I was in a bad mood with Europe yesterday after the 10 men
of Monaco made the 11 men of Chelsea look like 9 boys who couldn't play
football.

Spoken like a true Pole!

I have never been to Poland, the nearest I have been is Bornholm
(island off the north coast). I see your population is 40m (the UK is
60m) which makes you a big European player. Most families must have
survived invasion from the West then annexation from the East, what is
the country like now? I imagine there is the beginnings of an economic
boom? How did your grandfather get from France to Poland?

Europen.
