Help - end of year return ?

J

jim

I am director/sec of a non-trading ltd company (will make dormant soon
probably)

I was late with my PAYE & NI return for 5 Apr 2004, and got a reminder (date
28 Apr).

But I also got a reminder for 'End of Year Return' for PAYE & NI which is
due by 19 May (dated 25 apr). Is there a form to fill in ? I can't find one.

TIA
Jim

Form P35 sent to you all preprinted with your company details. Mine
came in an A5 manilla window envelope if that helps.

Get your P14 ready there for the 19th May, and don't forget P11D a few
weeks later.

At the end of each tax year you must submit the employers' annual return
(form P35) and an end-of-year summary (form P14). These should be
returned by 19 May after the tax-year end. If they're more than a week
late, the Inland Revenue will charge a penalty of at least £100 for
every month past the due date.

You must also submit details of any benefits or expenses paid to
directors or employees on forms P11D (and P11Db) and P9D. These should
be returned by 6 July after the tax-year end. If they're late you'll be
charged a penalty of £300 with a possible additional daily penalty of
£60.

Further information about all aspects of PAYE can be found on the
Employers' section of the Inland Revenue website.

You can call the Inland Revenue Employers' Helpline on Tel 08457 143 143
and ask an adviser for help with your particular circumstances. New or
small businesses or new employers can also get one-to-one support from
the Inland Revenue's business support teams.
