Historic Data

I wrote my home accounts package back in the early nineties using clipper
summer 87. Been working fine, even managed to get it over the Millennium.
Now I need to make changes I can no longer follow the programs I wrote, so
I'm now downloading the trial edition of Money 2005.
Can anybody tell me if I can input the data manually for the years past or
do I have to start from now ??

You can enter your data manually if you like, with dates well in the past.

If you can get the data out of your custom package into Excel, you should be
able to convert and import that data into excel (see
http://money.mvps.org/faq/article/27.aspx)

Data is in standard DBF format so conversion to Excel then Money may not be
too difficult. Just got to remove US trial version & find UK
version............

UK trial can be gotten via my site at http://money.mvps.org/downloads

The US trial data is not compatible with the UK product though, so if you're
wanting to convert a file from one to the other, that would require extra
work
