Homestead exemption in West VA

Today I had a client in who has property in W VA. I am in the ND of
Ohio. Anyone have any info on how much the homestead exemption is in
WVA? The property in question is owned free and clear.

If they file in Ohio, the property will be history.

The WVa homestead exemption is $25,000.

Beats the hell out of OH's $5000 exemption, that's for damned sure.

Ohio should really try to opt back in to the federal exemptions. The
state is so damn backward at protecting consumers.
