homestead tax exemption



I bought and moved into a new house last July, and at that
time I still had not sold my previous condo. (both in SE

When I bought the new place, I filed for homestead property
tax exemption, but COMPLETELY forgot to remove the one on my
condo. Well, my condo is about to finally sell, and I just
realized about my oversight. Does anyone know what I need
to do to rectify my situation? I am planning to go in to
the county office this week after the closing of the condo.
I had read in previous posts that I might have been OK if I
had closed prior to the end of last year, but now I may be
in for trouble? Is that true??
