hospital accounting

hi,

I am not an accountant. I am an I.T. but developing a software for a hospital and I would like to ask if anyone can guide on the accounting flow for the hospital from the time patient open the new (or existing) file until he close at the casher (cash/credit/or insurance) and which one is debit and which one is credit?
