How to close accounts in bar

I recently opened some hidden accounts to view old data. The account shows
up in the left bar. How do you close this account to remove it from the bar?
The only way I did it was to close Quicken and reopen. I'm using Q04.

Thanks in advance.

Click on the "Customize" button on the bottom of the account bar. That
should bring up a window that lets you remove the account from the
account bar and/or hide the account from other locations in Quicken.

These accounts are already set to not show on the account bar. I needed to
open a hidden account - which puts the account in the account bar, but then
can't remove it from the bar unless I close Quicken and re-open.

This is also in Q03. It never really bothered me; the account show up
italicized, which to me indicates that it's a hidden account. I
always figured it was just session-specific, like you said, and it
would go away when the program was closed.
