Hi Everyone! It has been a long time since I belonged to a forum but I look forward to getting to know everyone here.
Work: I am in my first year at a mid-sized CPA firm in Houston, TX. The story of how I came to be here is interesting, but I will spare you all the details for now. I also own two grooming and boarding salons for dogs--I am an animal lover in every sense of the term.
Education: BS in Accounting and MBA from the University of Houston. Currently working on MSA at A&M ( I am about half way finished there).
Personal: I currently reside in Katy TX but will be moving into downtown Houston very soon with my other half and my seven-year-old stepson. As a native Houstonian, I can't wait to be home!
Why I joined this forum: just to connect with others in my field in a casual setting. I like to keep things lighthearted, but do enjoy the occasional debate over meaningful topics (not necessarily relating to accounting or business).
