HQ Client unable to connect to HQ Server

Dear all,

I have accidentally upgraded database from version 1.02 to 1.2, now HQ
client at retail stores run Version 1.02 not able to connect to HQ server to
upload and download data, kindly advise how I could rectify this problem.

To double check your question, in SO Administrator | Database | you did an
Upgrade to 1.2, right?

Then the only thing, I'm pretty sure, you can do is to upgrade the stores
too. This link seems to confirm it;

Install store operation V1.2 and upgrade database? Do I need to export and
import the database when upgrading the program? Please advise.

Yes, upgrade them all to 1.2 or 1.3R (the current version) and then convert the databases to 1.2 in SO Admin.

Sinhc,

Make sure you Connect first and then Configuration | Test Connection.

Also, you may have to re-start the machine for the changes to take effect.

It was caused by changing of database password after installing the store
operation, i manage to change the password in the registry and now it works.
