I had my assessment a couple of months ago. Yesterday I got a letter
and now today another letter. I don't really understand what they
mean. I was thinking that I might be removed from Incapacity Benefit
and have to apply for Job Seekers Allowance. That hasn't happened.
The first letter says I will be put into a 'work related activity
group'. Looking at the letter it seems that it would have been better
for me if they had put me in a 'support group'. Should I appeal
against their decision? How do I do that? Should I try and get a copy
of the notes of the assessment so that I can understand why I didn't
get many points? Can you direct me to a web site that gives details
about this?
I have tried searching on the internet for information but I haven't
found a site yet that can give me the information I need. I know this
sounds very basic, but I am sure there are a lot of people like me who
are in the same situation as me and have difficulty comprehending how
the system works.
