* Import to Accounting Professional is achieved via File > Utilities > Import
* Source file is Excel 2003. Columns have column titles in row 1, data in
rows 2...n
* I deliberately added Income Account, COGS Account, and Asset Account
colums PLUS correct data
* Partial Import from Excel (Product Inventory 2006) is mapped to the
Customer table.
-- meaning I "selectively" import columns vs. all columns
-- resulting logfile reports the following for each/every row:
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Inventory Item: "Custom Cookie Assortment": Cannot import the field "Income
Account". No FinancialAccount
exists in Microsoft Office Accounting with name "1005".
Inventory Item: "Custom Cookie Assortment": Cannot import the field "COGS
Account". No FinancialAccount
exists in Microsoft Office Accounting with name "5015".
Inventory Item: "Custom Cookie Assortment": Cannot import the field "Asset
Account". No FinancialAccount
exists in Microsoft Office Accounting with name "1250".
Inventory Item: "Custom Cookie Assortment": One or more fields could not be
imported and the record is
being saved with default values for those fields.
Inventory Item: "Custom Cookie Assortment": Cannot import. COGS account is
required.
-------------------------------------------------------------
* these fields DO exist and ARE populated with VALID account numbers (per
the G/L)
