Inside Track Property Workshops

Seen a few adverts for these in the paper recently and wondered two
things:

Has anyone been to one of these free seminars that they offer, and are
they any use? Or do they just simply state the obvious?

Secondly, what does this company hope to get out of offering these
freebie workshops? Presumably they want to cross-sell some kind of
portfolio management or consultancy services to people later on in
their property tycoon lives?

Just wondering. The website is www.insidetrack.eu.com if anyone
hasn't seen it.

No such thing as a free lunch, so.........

They will be trying to sell you properties which they either agree to
refurbish, let and manage for you - NOT! <g> There are some real horror
stories in this area.

Or they will be trying to get you to buy new properties where they have
negotiated a special discount from the developer, whilst building
something in for themselves - probably the same discount you can get for
yourself with some negotiating.

I know of a block locally where the developer sold 20 flats to an
investor at £120K each and, within a few months, I was speaking with
people who had paid around £150K for them.

Been to one quite a few months ago.

Over the two-odd hours they don't actually tell you anything
substantial, it's a lot of hype designed to get you to sign up to one
of their more costly (i.e. £000's) 'teaching programmes'.

Go to one of their free ones if you like (after all, it costs you
nothing but time) but don't expect to get anything from it other than
an extended sales pitch for further 'training' and membership of their
'club'.
