I'm trying to install Quicken 2012 over Quicken 2009 and I get the following message:
Quicken failed to install FIDIR.TXT, a required online banking setup file. To resolve this issue, please reinstall Quicken. If the problem persists, contact Quicken support.
I installed a second time and it seemed to install okay, but when I ran the program I was told that the program had not installed properly and that I should uninstall and re-install which I did.
Unfortunately, after uninstalling the re-install gave me the same message I have quoted above. In order to give myself the best chances, I stopped my anti-virus program and ran the install file as administrator. But no luck.
