Installing HQ Manager on a separate computer as HQ Server

Hello,
Can you install HQ Manager and Administrator on a separate computer as HQ
Server? If you want to use your existing sql server to create the databases,
but manage from a different computer, how do you connect them?

Hello HNLuhar - actually that's the recommended setup - run HQ server on a
different machine than your database and other computers running HQ manager -
you connect the application using HQ administrator, which gets installed on
all computers - use this to point the executables (HQ manager, HQ server) to
the static IP address you assign the machine hosting the SQL database -
hope this helps...
