Hi,

What is the difference between interest income and accrued interest (in the context of banks) ?

Thanks

I am not totally sure but I would say that interest income would be interest earned in the form of "other income," meaning that the earnings are not related to the principal activity of the bank. Accrued interest would represent the revenue earned in the form of interest but not yet received.
