Hi,

Do you think investing in reputable US investment funds at the moment
would be a good move as the US dollar is very low against the pound? I
am a UK citizen living there.

Thanks for any advice.

Generally only a small percentage of profit comes from currency
movements compared with that from the underlying equity or property
investments. But since we're at a 18 year low/high it might be
worthwhile. Since 70% of FTSE 100 companies earnings come from abroad
it may be worth considering UK companies with large dollar earnings
such as oil, commodity and pharmaceuticals, which surprise, surprise
are currently offering good value for money. Try BP, RDSB, BLT, GSK.
