I can't find a report that will give me qty sold and qty
on hand for a specific item or supplier. Anyone know of
one?

Thank you

have you tried the item movement report with criteria being supplier?

yes,
unfortunately, the item movement report does not give you
the option of showing the current "on Hand" amount. It
will show you the Qty sold for a specified date but will
not give you current stock on hand for the items.

Thank you for your suggestion.

here is a quick way to modify the Detailed Sales report to include quantity
on hand. Edit the Sales - Detailed Sales Report.qrp file to include this in
the //---Columns---// section.

Begin Column
FieldName = "Item.Quantity"
DrillDownFieldName = ""
DrillDownReportName = ""
Title = "On Hand"
VBDataType = vbString
Formula = ""
ColHidden = True
ColNotDisplayable = False
FilterDisabled = False
ColWidth = 900
GroupMethod = groupmethodNone
ColFormat = ""
ColAlignment = flexAlignLeftCenter
End Column

after taking a better look, that report already had that field. Long day...

just set that column to show and filter the report according to the
parameters you desire..

Hi root :)

One of the limitations of the Detailed Sales Report is that it pull only the
info for items that have sold during the period.

Also... if the item has sold more than once... you get the quantity on hand
repeated at each line...

The following comes as is...
http://www.83bloor.com/gmroii/Custom - GMROII.qrp
It answers the question.... what is my current inventory on hand... and the
last 7 days of sales... including today... by item...

It isn't sorted all that right... RMS QRP report engine is great for that
:)

There is a problem with how the period is calculated at beginning of year...
and perhaps other problems.
