Job costing

I am told that Quickbooks Pro can handle it but an application to their
forum drew a list of similar questions but no answers.

I* have been told that corrections can be made in Quickbooks that leave no
trace of the original transaction. Is this true?

If Quickbooks Pro cannot hack job costing, can anyone suggest the a cheap
solution? It must go with a general bookkeeping package though.

No, not if you want a trace.
