USA Journal Entry Reclass Expense as an Asset

I have a large amount of equipment that has been recorded as an expense. I need to reclass it as an asset. What is the proper journal entry to accomplish this?

Credit all the entries where the equipment was recorded as an expense
Debit for the total of the above the Equipment Asset
