Leasehold Improvements
I have been given leasehold improvements, ordinarily I would post this to the asset account and also to the cash account. Except this time is unique, one of our locations that has multiple partners paid for the leasehold improvements out of his pocket. How should I enter this entry in the G/L seeing it is from one of the partners in the location?

Get them to claim it back and then just account for it as normal. You're going to want every single receipt for every single penny said partner paid/wants to claim back though, so as to be able to put it through the accounts. Any particular reason why this partner took it upon themself to just pay for the improvements out of their own pocket?
