Live in NYC, working in NJ

I want to know how to prepare for my taxes.
I live in NYC and work in NJ (making ~50k). How should I fill out my w4's etc so that I am best prepared to cover all the necessary state, city and federal taxes. I file my taxes as single and currently have listed 1 for withholdings.
