Will Money 2003 allow you to back up your data to a CD
rather than a floppy disc?

Not unless you use some software that makes a CD pretend to be a hard disk.
Examples of presently unreliable packet writing software include DirectCD
and InCD.

Money will do nothing to prevent you from taking your Money data file and
burning it onto a CD using whatever tools you use to burn CDs of other
files.

This comes up pretty much each and every week. You can find many posts on
this subject and it's treated in the FAQ.

With Mt. Rainier (O/S and hardware level standardized packet writing) coming
in the XP follow-on, I'd be surprised. I'd also bet it'd be a feature listed
on the box photos shown on amazon.com.
