USA Missing gross profit in financial report

Cost of Goods Sold section is only shown when there is inventory involved.
If only a service is provided as the main source of revenue, then you wouldn't see it.

Thanks. So, even if there are some costs to provide the service, cost of revenue will still be zero? The software company mentioned needs to use cloud platform, such as AWS, to provide the service. So, there are definitely some costs directly related to the serviced provided to customers. Moreover, how do I calculate the gross profit in this case here if cost of revenue is zero? Will the gross profit be the same as revenue?

Yes. What you are describing as a "cost to use cloud platform" is an administrative expense in operating a business.
