MOAP 09 - SubTotals in Quotes & Invoices

Usiing MOA Pro 09. My quotes and invoices are broken down into sections -
for instance: Theater; Whole Home Audio; Home Network... After the last
item in a section I want to have a subtotal so the client can see the total
of any given section. How do I add a "subtotal item"?

Hi,

For one of my clients I wrote a couple of Word 2007 macros to facilitate
this. The user selects the last row of the section of the quote they wish to
subtotal, clicks on a toolbar button and a line is inserted into the document
along with an appropriate SUM formula. We also implemented a 'highlight'
macro so they could highlight comment lines to make sections stand out.

Hey Nick...

Thanks for the tip - should've realized that myself. I'm still wrapping my hands around MOA 09 being a database and Word being the report writer...I'll work on the Macro and let you know how it goes. Good idea with the Comment macro...

The best things are often the simplest things...
