How can I modify the symbol to retrieve the online price for FTSE
(London)? The current symbol is $US:UKX and need to change it to
$GB:UKX. Looking through the help files I need to "Deactivate a ticker
symbol from online downloads". Following on from this it tells me to go
into my entry for FTSE (London) > details ~ My problem here is
'details' is greyed out and I have no more options from it.

Any help / advice would be much appreciated. Maybe an upgrade or
something is required?

Many thanks

I think you're out of luck with 2001 as indices, but there is a workaround
to track them as stocks. See http://money.mvps.org/faq/article/223.aspx for
more details.
Excellent, now it 'tracks' the FTSE 100 when I update the price. One
little thing, the price comes in as 57.315, is it possible to make it
read 5731.5? Not the end of the world if it doesn't, but would be nice.

Many thanks Glyn

I think the download will be treated as pence, just like most other other
stock downloads, so you might not be able to get around this. Its a while
since i last used 2001, so am not sure whether it is possible. I'd need to
do some research on that
