Money 2007 fails to open file after reinstall

After doing a fresh install of Win 7 Ultimate and then reinstalling Money
2007, I get the following error when trying to open my current mny file:

"Money can't open this file. The file was saved with a later version of
Money than you're currently using, or with a version of Money that had online
program updates installed. You are currently using Money version
(16.0.125.1303).

To open this file, you need to install the version of Money you were using
when the file was last saved. If it still won't open, click More Info."

How can I fix this?

Thanks!

Install Money Plus. It's available on Ebay.

I just completed a "clean" install of Windows 7 Home Premium and tried to
reinstall Money Plus. After entering the Product KEY it tried to activate
Money but a message appeared saying that the KEY had expired, my online
services ended in late August 2009 but I did not think it also affected use
of the KEY.

All is not lost, temporarily at least, I now get a nagging message every
time I open Money saying I have 60 days from the date of first use to
activate the software so I am assuming I can use it for an additional 60
days. I plan to quickly complete my transition to Quicken. I am not waiting
for Microsoft to remove the "call home" blocks, it may never happen.

Good Luck to those that are hanging in there.

Money version 16 = 2007 so why would you have to upgrade to Money
Plus?

I am guessing that you need to open the Sample.mny file and do some
program updates, but I'm not sure.
