Money Central Portfolio

The new version has been acting pretty flakey for me.

I am running a late model Dell with XP Pro and all svc packs, anti virus and
firewalls. This is the first app to give me the "Blue Screen of Death".
Three times this morning it hung my system sufficiently that the only way to
get control back was to pull the power cord out of the back. I wonder what
wonderful new technology they have introduced that can cause this type of
system instability from within a browser based app.

VERY flakey would be a better choice of words! I can't count the number of
problems, but they include:

1. subtotals and totals not working
2. gains/losses showing next to the wrong investments
3. some cash balances show and others do not (I DID set them up correctly)
4. no gains/losses shown for bonds
5. nothing showing for mutual funs.

All in all, what I see is just about worthless!

Cal,

I understand your need to keep the newsgroup clean, but in this case I think
there is a need to post here too--especially since the new portfolio
download created a directory ("C:\Program Files\Microsoft Money 2005") and
the tight integration supposedly between Money and MoneyCentral. I hope
we'll expect better from Money 2005, but I suspect otherwise since I've
heard that Money 2005 will be "more web-based."

Please see my post in microsoft.public.moneycentral for more details.
