Money is already running.

Sometimes when I attempt to start Money 2006 SB, I receive the following in
a small window "Money is already running". The only way to open money again
is to log off or restart. Anyone have any ideas how to rectify?

Did you read the responses to your post of the same question 3 days
ago?

Will you read this response?

Cal,

As it turns my original post never came through on my newsgroup software.
Therefore, I never was able to read the response from three days ago. If
you have any helpful input it would be appreciated.

That's odd.

Here was one of the responses (mine):
:
:One person reported the problem did not occur when letting Money
:finish closing before switching over to another application.
:
:You might consider turning off background banking if you are not
:using those features. You could turn off
:Tools->Settings->AccessYourMoneyDataOnTheWeb.
:
:Let us know if one of these helps.
:
:You should also be able to kill Money with the task manager, that
:you access with Ctrl+Alt+Delete in XP. On the process tab,
:right-click msmoney.exe, and choose EndProcessTree.
:
:You should then be able to restart Money.

Useful? I dunno.

FWIW I don't see an earlier post from you either.

Cal,

Allowing finish closing prior to switching to another application would
apply to me. I will try not to do this and see if the problem persists.

I have never enabled background banking. The next time it happens I will
look for those processes.

Thanks for the suggestions,
