I have used Microsoft Money for many years and I am now too long in the tooth
and have little need to start learning a new program. I have read a lot
regarding the discontinuation of Money but I am wondering what is the latest
version and if it is worthwhile upgrading from version 14

My advice is stay right where you are! You will lose downloads of stock
prices and automatic downloads from banks.

See http://money.mvps.org/faq/article/630.aspx as there is a necessary patch
if you ever have to reinstall and the online patch service is bound to be
    switched off some time!

Thanks for that advice. I don't think I actually need any more
functionality, I just thought if it was being discontinued, I might as well
have the latest version, but I am happy with your advice.

Hopefully you regard your current version as better than every version that
    you previously used.
If not, sadly, there is no easy way for you to get back to an earlier
    version.
