Month on Month Stock Analysis of FMCG Inventory

Hey all, I have to carry out a month on month stock analysis of all the categories of inventory items, for the organization I am working for. It's an FMCG. It should cover total purchases and issuance over a month, along with identifying new items, slow moving etc. I wanted to know how best I could summarize everything, which would give somewhat a clearer picture, and make this exercise easier every month.
