UK Moving From Iris Accounts to Sage Accounts.

Does anyone know how difficult it is to switch from Iris Accounts to Sage Accounts Software and transfer all Iris Data into Sage Accounts. We have quite a few Reports in Iris and these would have to be saved in Excel Format and imported into Sage and the Fields Mapped i have gathered. What exactly is involved and is something a Sage Professional would have to do or could an experienced IT user do this?
