Moving inventory OUT of qbooks

    Hello,

I have a client that uses Quickbooks 6 as a POS system. It had worked out
great so far, but it's time to start ringing sales with a real POS system.

I've been reading Qbooks' documentation and although it's not certain yet,
they will likely import sales sumaries into quickbooks (as opposed to
day-end transactions containing all the items that were sold).

This means that the inventory will be removed from Quickbooks and handled
    externally.

This is the part I'm not too certain about: how do I go about removing all
the inventory items from the system (or getting their quantities to zero) in
order to move them into the other system?

    Thanks!

    Alex
