    Is there any way to get rid of the requirement for a password at
    start-up? I don't have anything secretive on my MS Money 2006
    files and the start-up password process is just a delay in the
    start-up proceedute. I'd like to get rid of it.

    Couldn't you just check the "Remember password" box?

    If you want to remove the Passport from a file you may have to turn
    off background banking at
    Tools->Settings->AccessYourMoneyDataOnTheWeb and then
    File->PasswordManager you can choose to remove your Passport. To
    remove a conventional password, see File->PasswordManager.

    Note that this may make it impossible to receive downloaded transaction data
    if your FI does not offer "direct services".

    I;m trying to do this but is seems to think I am continually offline. When I try and access the "Access Your Money Data on the Web" setting ti doesn't let me do anything as it says I am offline. I've tried this both whilst disconnect and also whilst online. Signing back into Money as well. It seems to think I am always offline even though I am able to access the web from within the software. I am using Money 2005 UK.
