Is MS making further changes to Money Sunset Home or is File Version
6.0.2800.1168 the last version?

Are the MS Deluxe Home Sunset files compatible with the Money 2007 Deluxe
files? They have different extensions. I saw on this group that the
Business Sunset version is backward compatible to the latest Business version.

Further version changes are unlikely.

Yes.

Sunset versions can share files with Plus, and can convert Money
2004 and later to the later format. Money 2007 cannot read a Money
Sunset file.

start using it now.

No.

It is possible to have more than one year installed at a time. You
have to pay attention during install to select to not have Money
Sunset uninstall the earlier version during install.

The only caveats I can think of are the last-installed is set up
with the file associations, so when you download an OFX or QIF, the
last installed gets fed the file. To feed the file to both, save
the file to disk, and do File->Import to both. Just clicking a
link sends the file to the last-installed. You could manually
adjust the associations, or could reinstall 2007 to reset the
associations.

Copy your Money 2007 file to another filename such as Mon08.mny.
Let Money Sunset convert that file, rather than to convert the
Money 2007 file that you want to continue working with.

Based on my dual posting to date, I plan to convert my file on June 30th.
Verigy that the Sunset file and the M07 file are the same.
Then uninstall both programs and reinstall Sunset to prevent any possible
problems when that may occur if I only uninstall M07.
