Mutual Funds

I have an Investment account with T. Rowe Price, a broker that only offers
Mutual fund investments. Because of the nature of Mutual funds, theres no
cash account necessary for any of my Mutual funds accounts. When I execute
an import an exchange from one Mutual fund into another, MS MONEY propely
crate the Exchange transactions, but also creates Cash Transactions into MS
Money cash accounts that dont exist with my Broker. These MS Money Cash
accounts and transactions are not necessary and have already tried to turn
off the generation of these cash transactions and nothing worked. I dont
want for Money to generate these cash transactions if there isnt a Cash
account with my broker. Can you please let me know how to do this.

Un-tick TrackCashTransactions in the account settings. That will
cause you to not have a Contributions/Cash account for that account.

Yes I have unchecked that option but still receive the same thing.

In your TransactionsRegister, go to multi-line format. Ctrl+T
toggles that. Note that there is a TransferTo field to specify where
the cash goes/comes from. You could blank that for each transaction.

Alternatively, change each Buy into an AddShares and each Sell into
a Remove Shares.

Now my favorite way would be to tick the TrackCashTransactions in
the account settings. Then when you do a so-called transfer of
shares, let the Sell put an entry into the account's
CashTransactions register, and let the Buy remove those same funds.
Expect the balance of that account to always be zero. Now my
favorite way certainly does not need to be your favorite way.

If you chose that method, and next time blank the TransferTo field
before accepting the transaction(s), the next round of downloads may
default to the blanked condition. I don't use that method, so I am
not sure.
