MYOB question

I am using accounting plus V14. I have a few years of data in my
company file and i'd like to prune it down to just this financial year
(ie from Jul 04). Is there a way of deleting a range of transactions
by date in one go? I'd rather not have to manually go through and
delete every single one.

In MYOB, you should use File-Start A New Year-Start A New Fiscal Year. That
will remove the oldest fiscal year of information. Do this until you get to
the
current fiscal year (beginning July 04 through June 05). You will now have
only
the current year of transactions, plus the prior year monthly totals for
each
account (for comparison purposes).

If you are writing payroll, you should also Start a New Payroll Year each
year
before you write your first January paycheck.

In both cases, you should keep an archive copy of your file so you can
access
details if you need to.
