Printing off a session report at the end of the day.

I only want to print out the transactions. What I get is the transactions
and a grand total which inlcudes both the debit and credit of a sale. I.E.
I enter a sale for 10.00 and the customer pays me right away and I enter
another sale for 20.00 and the customer is billed. The total should be only
$30.00, but it gives me a grand total of $40.00.

Is there anyway that I can set up the session report to only give me $30.00
that was received or to be received????

Thanks for any responses,

Mike

Dump the report to Excel and edit the report?

Tut Tut what will the auditors say when they find out...

The session report acts like an audit trail and shows all entries into the
system. The problem with computerised accounting is that we loose our
book-keeping skills. In the example, there are 3 transactions totalling $40,
the sale of $10, the cash receipt of $10 and another sale of $20.

Bring back Kalamazoo I say (shows my age!)

I agree, not with Kalamazoo, but rather with the number of transactions.
But what I want is that the grand total not show $40.00 but rather only
$30.00 which was taken in our to be received. This is only a small example,
there will be some days when there will be several hundred transactions and
the total of course then will be totally out of wack.

Thanks.

Bear in mind the session report only gives the transactions that
occurred in that session. As I found the hard way there is no way
to get the session report for the previous day. The only way to do it
is to save the report at the time.

The only way to use the session report as an "audit trail" is to
actually save it.

Hi All,

The MYOB Accounting Users Group hosted with YahooGroups has moved to a
better service provider.

YahooGroups treated members of its Groups with very consideration by
inflicting spam messages to them without their consent or knowledge.

Because of this lousy behaviour the MYOB Accounting Users Group has
moved to a service provider that does not treat its members that way.
